About

Isaac Díaz Pardo (1920-2012) was one of the most important Galician cultural figures of the 20th century — painter, ceramicist, designer, publisher, and cultural entrepreneur. He founded the Sargadelos ceramics factory (reviving a historic brand) and the Laboratorio de Formas, an interdisciplinary studio that applied modern design to Galician traditions. His paintings combined Galician landscape with social commentary.
