A monumental bronze sculpture from Dylan Lewis's acclaimed 'Trans-figure' series. Standing over 2.5 metres tall, the work captures the moment of metamorphosis between the human form and the animal spirit — a signature theme of Lewis's practice. The textured bronze surface catches light in shifting patterns, suggesting both skin and bark, flesh and landscape. Currently installed in the Paradyskloof Valley sculpture garden, Stellenbosch.
